He has given many memorable performances on the field for the United States and Blackburn Rovers, and in return has gained much respect in the world of football. Now, goalkeeper Brad Friedel is giving back to the future of football in a very big way.
Friedel's Premier Soccer Academies (PSA) have gone from being built to being introduced, and are now up and running. It is a full scholarship (yes, no cost) program designed to provide talented players from across the world great academic and athletic educations. PSA's mission statement says it best:
"Premier Soccer Academies will provide the highest quality soccer education, experience, training and enjoyment to talented soccer players without regard to economic or social condition."There is so much that can be said about what Brad Friedel has done by creating PSA, and some have already started talking. In this post, though, I just want to get to the point: THANK YOU VERY MUCH MR. BRAD FRIEDEL.
