Do you remember the the earlier post in which I said that Manchester United was close to signing Guillermo "Memo" Ochoa? Well, according to the Ovaciones, Manchester United is getting even closer. In fact, the deal could be finalized by this weekend, with Club America set to be the beneficiary of potentially the most expensive player in Mexican history (7.5 million). Ochoa is a great shot stopper, but there is no doubt that he will have a lot of growing to do to in the European game if the deal is finalized. Regardless, with his recent performances for both club and country I don't think anyone could argue that Ochoa has earned the chance to play with a club like United.
